Therapy Works CQ requires full payment of session fees on the day of your appointment. There are a variety of funding options available that you may be able to access.
NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME (NDIS)
Therapy Works CQ is an NDIS Provider. The amount of funding a participant receives for Therapy Services depends on the individual NDIS package. TWCQ is able to accept payment from participants who are plan-managed or self-managed. Please call the NDIS Hotline 1800 800 110 or visit the NDIS website www.ndis.gov.au for more information.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
Many Private Health Funds provide rebates for Therapy Services under their "Extra's Cover". You can claim private health rebates at the time of payment through our HICAPS machine and only pay the gap payment using EFTPOS. Please contact your health fund for more information.
MEDICARE REBATES
Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) Formally known as Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC)
The CDM or EPC plan offers up to 5 Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year for clients with complex or ongoing needs who see two or more Allied Health Professionals. The rebate is approximately $56.00 per session, which can be claimed online at the time of payment. For clients who have exceeded the Medicare Safety Net, the rebated amounts can be much higher. Referrals for this plan can be made by a GP.
For clients of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, an additional 5 Medicare rebates per calendar year may be available as referred by a GP.
Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD)
Therapy Works CQ is an approved provider for the Pervasive Developmental Disorder for children diagnosed with ASD before the age of 13. This plan provides rebates for 20 treatment sessions including 4 assessment sessions, which are to be used before the child turns 15. The rebate is approximately $87.45 per session which can be claimed online at the time of payment. These sessions can be shared between different health services and cannot be renewed annually. Referrals for this plan must be made by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist.
