Therapy Assistants

Our Therapy Assistants help our clients practice skills, so that they can reach their goals faster!

Our Therapy Assistants (TA) are therapy students and work under the guidance of our Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists. They help our clients to implement their therapy plans and develop resources, focusing on the same therapy goals and activities identified by their therapist.

Therapy Assistants help our clients by providing extra repetition and practice of skills to achieve their goals. TA’s do not replace your therapist. They work with your therapist, allowing extra opportunities for learning and skill development.

Using a Therapy Assistant can also help your funding to stretch further and provide more intensive therapy.

Our Therapy Assistants work in our practices, in the home, early childhood centre, school, or in the community.
