Ute Graz

Occupational Therapist

Ute graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1996 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She is trained in both Neurodevelopmental Therapy and Sensory Integration Therapy.

She started working in private practice in a small, very rural South African town and then moved on to work in private practice in Namibia for about 14 years.  With the move to Australia came the move to working in the disability sector in NGO’s both in Ballarat and for the last 6 years in Rockhampton and Central Queensland. Ute loves working with children with complex physical disabilities, especially Cerebral Palsy,  in a family-centered, multidisciplinary approach to both therapy and complex equipment prescription or home modifications, but equally enjoys working with children with learning disabilities and general developmental delay.

Ute also provides equipment prescription and home or vehicle modification prescriptions for adults with physical disabilities and regularly travels to Gladstone to provide services there. Outside of work Ute enjoys music, karate, horseback riding and volunteering for the Riding for the Disabled.
